Man tried to buy Porsche with fake $78 million check
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE/Gray News) - An Indiana man was arrested after he allegedly tried to buy a Porsche with a fake $78 million check Wednesday afternoon.
Connor James Litka, 21, walked into the St. Matthews Porsche Dealership in hopes of buying an exotic car, WAVE reported. When they refused to sell him the car, he walked to the back entrance looking for car keys.
Authorities say he refused to leave until the dealership sold him the car. Scared he might do something reckless, employees called the police and Litka was arrested.
He was charged with one count of criminal trespass and one count of disorderly conduct.
It was also discovered he attempted to buy a Land Rover with a $12 million check the day before at another dealership.
