RICHLAND, Wash. - Richland police say a man showed up at the department and voluntarily confessed to sexually assaulting several children and also claimed he "had sex" with two dogs.
According to court documents, Kyle Murrey, 27, showed up to the Richland Police Department on Wednesda, and allegedly confessed to raping a 3-year-old girl twice, sometime between 2014 and 2015.
Murrey also allegedly confessed to looking at child pornography online.
Investigators say Murrey told them he raped the child because he had "sexual impulses" and needed a "release".
Police say Murrey also confessed to several sexual assaults against children when he was a teenager.
Court documents say Murrey told investigators during that time, he, “had sex” with two dogs “many times”.
Murrey was booked into jail for investigation of third-degree child rape.
Bail is set at $150,000.
